The Revised Recommendations for constituencies for Aberdeen City; Argyll and Bute; and City of Edinburgh council areas were superseded by the Commission's Further Recommendations for these areas which were published in September 2009.
The publication of Revised Recommendations for Scottish Parliament constituencies has taken place at the same time as the publication of Provisional Proposals for Scottish Parliament regions. View full details of the set of the Commission's proposals. Each proposed constituency is designated as a Burgh Constituency (BC) or a County Constituency (CC). The map files are available as GIF, TIF or PDF files. GIF and TIF files are smaller and quicker to download, but lower resolution. Advice on handling large PDF files is available in the Technical section of our Frequently Asked Questions.
Representations were taken during the period 21 May 2009 to 21 June 2009 concerning these proposals by webform, email or post. Representations will be handled in accordance with the Commission's Representations privacy policy which is available from the Publications section of this website.
