Postcode search
This page searches for Scottish Parliament and Westminster constituencies for a postcode, and returns links to maps. Type a postcode into the box and press the Look for maps button.
No maps found
The parliamentary boundaries included in the search are those defined by the Boundary Commission for Scotland in its reviews. The postcode data for the search is provided by the General Register Office for Scotland (GROS).
The search results include links to PDF files of maps of the constituencies and regions. There is guidance on handling and viewing large PDF files in the Technical section of our Frequently Asked Questions.
Where a postcode crosses a constituency boundary, the search will return more than one set of maps. In this case, use the buttons below the search results to move between the different results. You can also browse lists of the maps available of all the constituencies and regions for each parliament from the Maps section of this website.
If you want to carry out more analysis, you may wish to contact the General Register Office for Scotland (GROS), which carries out many of the same functions that the Office for National Statistics is responsible for in England and Wales. GROS create and maintain products which tabulate postcodes against other geographic areas, including wards and constituencies. You can contact the relevant department there through their website at http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/geography-enquiries.html.
