24 January 2012 - We have submitted our Progress Report on the review to the Speaker of the House of Commons. The Progress Report is available from the Resources page for the Review.
11 January 2012 - The secondary consultation period on our Initial Proposals in our Sixth Review of UK Parliament Constituencies will last from 1 March to 28 March 2012. During the secondary consultation period you will be able to scrutinise and make remarks on all of the comments which we have received, and the transcripts of the Public Hearings which we held. After the secondary consultation period, we will develop our Revised Proposals for constituencies, which we expect to publish for an 8 week public consultation period in autumn 2012. In the meantime, you can continue to look at our Initial Proposals using the innovative interactive mapping consultation part of this site.
6 January 2012 - The consultation on our Initial Proposals in our Sixth Review of UK Parliament Constituencies ended on 4 January 2012. We will announce shortly our plans for the secondary consultation period when you will be able to scrutinise and make remarks on all of the comments which we have received.
14 October 2011 - The innovative interactive mapping consultation part of this site allows you to look at our Initial Proposals by postcode, by council area or by constituency, and to zoom right in to see individual streets. You can also send us your comments on the Proposals from within that consultation area.
13 October 2011 - We have published our Initial Proposals for constituencies as part of our Sixth Review of UK Parliament constituencies. There is now a 12 week public consultation which lasts until Wednesday 4 January 2012. To take part in the consultation, you can visit the Consultation area of our website, come to one of the Public Hearings between 14 and 29 November 2011, email us at comments@scottishboundaries.gov.uk, or write to us at the address at the bottom left of this page.
6 October 2011 - We have added detailed information about the existing constituencies which will be replaced by those resulting from our Sixth Review of UK Parliament constituencies. This detailed information comprises a spreadsheet which lists the electorate and wards within each existing constituency, and a set of spreadsheets listing the postcodes in each of the existing constituencies. We remain on track to publish our Initial Proposals in the Review on Thursday 13 October 2011.
