29 December 2007 - Bob Smith, the former Secretary of the Boundary Commission for Scotland, was awarded the MBE in the New Year Honours.
23 October 2007 - Dr Hugh Buchanan has taken up post as Secretary to the Boundary Commission for Scotland, in succession to Bob Smith who has retired.
3 July 2007 - the Boundary Commission for Scotland announces the commencement of its First Periodic Review of Scottish Parliament Boundaries. The announcement was made through a News Release, and through a notice in the Edinburgh Gazette.
