31 July 2008 - The Commission has published its Annual Report for the year 2007-08, which is available as a PDF file from the Publications page.

21 July 2008 - The Boundary Commission for Scotland has revised its Freedom of Information Policy to reflect the Information Commissioner's 2008 Model Publication Scheme. The new Policy is available on the Publications page.

8 July 2008 - The Commission has announced the timetable for Local Inquiries into its provisional proposals for Scottish Parliament constituencies - details are available on the Local Inquiries page of the Reviews in Progress section of this website.

3 July 2008 - The Search page on this website has been updated, giving access to parliamentary constituency and region maps for the Scottish and Westminster Parliaments.

28 March 2008 - The joint Secretariat to the Boundary Commission for Scotland and the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland has advertised a vacancy for a Casework Manager, with a closing date for applications of 11 April 2008. Further details of the post are available on the Scottish Government website.

14 March 2008 - An explanatory booklet about Local Inquiries has been published on the website, on the page concerning the First Periodical Review of Scottish Parliament Boundaries.

29 February 2008 - A minor change to the electorate data spreadsheet has been made correcting the data for Wards 4 and 7 in Aberdeen City. This does not alter the electorate in the Commission's proposed constituencies for Aberdeen City.

26 February 2008 - Additional detailed maps showing the proposed constituencies with wards for East Lothian and Midlothian Council areas have been added to the website.

19 February 2008 - Revised Statutory Notice with corrected ward numbers for East Ayrshire Council area issued. The period for representations on the proposals for this area has been extended to 21 March 2008.

15 February 2008 - Revised Statutory Notices with corrected ward numbers for Angus Council area and Dumfries & Galloway Council area issued. The period for representations on the proposals for these areas has been extended to 21 March 2008.

14 February 2008 - The provisional proposals for the first review of the constituencies and regions for the Scottish Parliament have now been published. The period for representations lasts until 14 March 2008
